A Letter to My Twin Flame

Look me in the eyes

Promise me once more.

What were those words?

As we lingered at the door.

Twin flames growing divinity

Nurture the celestial

Balance between ying and yang

Hold space for being bestial.

A future, a plan

A rebel with a cause

Giving rebirth to a society

Starting with this pause.

A pause to let it sink in

This is real life.

Preparing for a lifetime

Call me your wife.

Missing you already

Is it too soon?

Woke up this morning knowing

I’m going to fly away like a balloon.

Hop on a plane

Actually, three.

You’re stuck on my mind

Using all of this brains energy.

I had a story running

That I needed to set you free

For you to deepen your roots

Grow strong like an oak tree.

Then I had the thought

That you didn’t understand

The fear-ridden place you planted seeds in

Looks a lot more like quicksand.

Get out, get out, RUN!

I wanted to scream.

Blinders off now it makes sense

You can still be on my team.

You’re on your own timeline

Sometimes it has to get worse before better.

My heart aches to see you in pain

Wanting to snuggle into your sweater.

It’s sweater weather

Where I’m going today.

Sometimes it rains

That’s when we go out to play.

I wanted a playmate

My best friend to come back.

To write the next chapter with me

Instead of feeling like that.

Feel the feels

You’ve rolled in the muck.

The pain teacher reminds you

It’s time to give a fuck.

A fuck moving forward

For your bigger plan.

To ground yourself for good

To show up a compassionate and creative man.

You are, you have been

It’s just now you’re ready to see.

Time to wash off the muck

Make your plan to come home to me.

Every warrior needs a safe place

To return from after battle.

Some go to war to kill or destroy

Others to scream and rattle.

Get it out of your system

Every last ounce

As things come up moving forward

We have the tools to pounce.

It takes a village to raise a child

It takes a lover to reflect unfinished work.

We’ve been shown our areas for growth

We can laugh at them and smirk.

We see you

With unbiased eyes.

We invite you to teach us

It’s ourselves we surprise.

How glorious it is!

This infinite game.

Twin flames dancing

Fire and rain.
