Spring Cleaning House Tip:

Clean your microwave by cutting a lemon in half, squeeze juice into a microwave-safe bowl, add in 1/2 cup water, and place the rinds into the mix. Microwave 3–5 minutes and allow to settle/sit for another 5 minutes (no peaking or opening the door early!) The steam will help loosen any grime buildup and make wiping it down much easier.

Spring Cleaning Lifestyle Tip:

Water is essential to human life, yet it’s easy for people to forget to sip on adequates amount of water throughout the day. To drink more water, it’s important to set up habits which promote water-drinking.

If you don’t already have a water bottle you love, I recommend investing in one like this 40oz Hydro Flask. A larger bottle makes the filling/refilling process simpler and less-frequent.

A flip top water bottle can help inspire more sipping throughout the day. When we have to work more for something (like unscrewing a top) we are less likely to do it frequently. When it’s easy to sip your water (by flipping a lid/straw open) more water gets consumed. Give this a try if you ever find you have to motivate yourself to drink enough water.

Drink up, buttercup! Chat soon.
